Your Visit to Abbey Farms

Your safety and the safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. By reserving a Christmas Tree experience at Abbey Farms, you agree to the following policies.

Reservations & Entry
Reservations are required during designated dates and times to help manage traffic and provide the best possible experience for all guests.
Please arrive during your selected 30-minute arrival window. For example, a 10:00 AM reservation may arrive anytime between 10:00 AM and 10:29 AM.
Guests arriving after their reservation window will be accommodated based on availability. If all reservation times are full, you may be asked to wait for the next available opening or return another day.
Abbey Farms reserves the right to deny entry to guests without a valid reservation when capacity has been reached.
Your Visit
Most U-Cut tree visits last approximately 60–90 minutes.
Most Pre-Cut tree visits last approximately 30–60 minutes.
You're welcome to continue enjoying the Nagel Emporium, bakery, and other areas of the farm after selecting your tree. If parking becomes limited, we may ask you to move your vehicle to a designated overflow parking area so arriving reservation holders have convenient access.
Tree Cutting
Complimentary bow saws are available with a refundable deposit while supplies last.
Guests may bring their own hand saws or battery-powered reciprocating saws.
For the safety of all guests, chainsaws are not permitted anywhere on the property.
Weather
Christmas Tree reservations are a rain, snow, or shine experience. Please dress appropriately for winter weather and uneven outdoor terrain.
In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, Abbey Farms reserves the right to delay, modify, or temporarily suspend operations for guest and staff safety.
Farm Safety
Christmas tree fields are active farm property with uneven ground, mud, snow, ice, tree stumps, and other natural hazards. Please use caution at all times.
Children must be supervised by an adult throughout your visit.
Please follow all posted signs and staff instructions.
Payments
Credit and debit cards are accepted throughout the farm.
Cash transactions may be available at limited registers and may require longer wait times during peak weekends.
Health & Courtesy
If you or anyone in your party is feeling ill, we kindly ask that you postpone your visit until everyone is feeling well.
Liability
By entering Abbey Farms, you acknowledge that outdoor farm activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, changing weather conditions, farm equipment, and other naturally occurring hazards.
Guests voluntarily assume these risks and agree to release Abbey Farms, Marmion Abbey d/b/a Abbey Farms, Marmion Inc., and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims arising from ordinary risks associated with visiting the property, except where prohibited by law.
Any disputes arising from your visit shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Aurora, Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
